Net Zero Commitment & Policy »

ISS Aerospace Climate Commitment

Recognising that climate change poses a real threat to the economy, nature, and our society at large, the Board of Directors, leadership team and employees of ISS Aerospace commit to take action immediately in order to:

  • Halve our greenhouse gas emissions, on an equivalent revenue basis, before 2030.
  • Achieve net zero emissions before 2050.
  • Disclose our progress on a yearly basis.

In doing so, we are proud to be recognised by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign, and join governments, businesses, cities, regions, and universities around the world that share the same vision.

Commitment To Achieving Net Zero

ISS Group Ltd (t/a ISS Aerospace) is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.

As an SME with significant growth plans, we anticipate that our journey to net zero will challenging and not straightforward.  It is likely that, in the short-term, as we increase manufacturing capacity, increase production output and employ more people, our net emissions will increase when simply compared to our baseline calculation.

We will work to minimise the environmental impact of our economic growth and in order to reduce the number of re-baselining events, we will report our performance on both an absolute and comparable basis until we have reached a net zero position.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Baseline Year:
2022 (Jan-Dec) is our first reporting year and forms our baseline emissions.

Baseline Year Emissions (Total tCO2e)
Scope 1: 8.52
Scope 2: 12.6
Scope 3: 374.4
Total Emissions: 395
